Redlands Canyon

For those who missed it, Redlands Canyon from Wood Canyon toward the back of the Briggs Mine(but going to it) is closed, reverted to the Wilderness. Where once you could continue past Wood Canyon, heading west from Butte Valley, and head into Redlands Canyon nearly to the dry falls, you are blocked by a wilderness boundary now. There was a lot of cool mining and natural things to see back there.

Now you need boots!

I do not know who is “watching” the Panamint and Death Valley areas, but I never read anything about this in In Gear or anything. So unless I missed something, a ball got dropped here and a little trail lost. A mile here, a mile there until they are all gone.
