In honor of Bud Hammers, a scholarship is awarded each year by the association life members to help sponsor a private post-secondary education for the selected CA4WDC member's child. Bud was a charter member of the Tulare Country 4x4 Club, which was one of the original clubs that started this association. Bud served as the president pro-tem until Steve Morris was elected as the first association president. He also served as the Association State Treasurer and served on the Legislative Committee in 1960 and 1961. He was very supportive and dedicated to our cause.
