Amy Cave, 2017 Convention Chair
Welcome to The 4 Wheeler family. This year's convention is sponsored by the Central District and will be held February 17-19, 2017 at the Lamp Liter Inn in Visalia, California. This is an event where friends of the four-wheelers meet old friends and meet new friends. All of us are members of the association for the same cause: enjoying the great outdoors and preserving our trails. This year's motto is "Everyone Trail Matters, You Make A Difference." All of us have a responsibility to help keep the trails open with our involvement in programs like OHV and our local clubs.
This year's convention will feature a Friday Board of Director meeting, Foundation meeting, and then with business all done, hospitality gatherings in the evening to see old friends and make new ones.
Saturday brings a full day, starting off with the Life Member Breakfast, Vendor Show (Anyone wanting to be a vendor, let us know. Free, but must provide own table, chairs, and easy up. It is held in the parking lot.) and Vehicle show (bring your rig). After lunch is the General Assembly where each club is represented to bring up issues to the association. Evening time brings awards and dinner, as well as no host reception.
Sunday concludes the General Assembly and meeting of the Old/New Board. These people are the backbone of the association and want to hear your concerns.
Registration is available and if you prefer, the registration form may be mailed. Register early and make your reservation at the hotel. The Lamp Liter has given us a great price and is centrally located to restaurants and shopping. Call hotel directly to make your reservations. All convention merchandise and apparel must be pre-ordered by January 10, 2017.
Hope to see everyone. It should be a great event.
