| Jack Raudy

The association and many of its member clubs kicked off many new runs and events during the 70’s. In 1970, the Hi-Landers started their poker run to the historic town of Washington. The following year, the Rat Pack club in Redding began its 4X4 races and in July 1974, the Diablo 4 Wheelers sponsored its first Run-A-Muck Rally.

The Molina Ghost Run saw its beginning in March of 1974 and the Central District hosted the Pismo Winter Fun Festival. During March of 1976, the Mountain Transit Authority hosted Mud In Your Eye 4 Wheel Frolic and Carnival and in April and May of 1978, the Clovis club sponsored its Overland Trails Poker Run and Fun Days.
